AT&T recently awarded a $50,000 to the university to finance the development of a new online chemistry resource designed for high school students. University faculty and students will develop “data-driven” online modules to help with chemistry instruction in high school. The initiative is part of a nationwide effort to increase the number of college students and scientists in the physical sciences.
The Hatters led most of the game until the fourth inning when KSU’s Klair Wells hit her fourth home run of the year tying the score 1-1.
“Our computer was stolen from the station on March 9 between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m.” WHAT Radio Chair Alex Harney said. “The last DJ to see the computer was Dr. King, who hosts a punk music segment from 4 to 6 p.m. on Mondays.”
